I am an Art Director and designer based in Berlin, working across product design, visual concept development and digital moving image.

I grew up between Berlin and Cologne and studied Product Design at Berlin’s UdK and Tama Art University Tokyo. After university I designed products and visited manufacturers in China for ARTWIZZ, before building large-scale sculptures at the studio of artist TOMÁS SARACENO. That spatial, scenographic work led me to MEIRÉ, where three years of intense creative work shaped my visual sensibility and taught me how to translate the world of global brands into something you can see and feel. I later co-founded SMS3D, a Berlin-based CGI and animation studio, where I led the creative direction for five years.

Three-dimensional thinking, a deep understanding of materials and making, and storytelling — these are the threads that run through everything I do.

I believe everything has a story worth telling — and that the best visual work makes that story impossible to ignore.

● VISUAL CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
Translating a client’s story, vision, or product into a coherent visual language. From brief to concept — finding the image before the image exists.

● ART DIRECTION
Defining the aesthetic direction of a project and steering it through to execution. Setting the tone, making the calls, keeping the vision intact across every touchpoint.

● MOTION DESIGN & MOVING IMAGE
Concept, storyboard, and creative direction for film, animation, and digital moving image. Knowing what a sequence needs to feel — and finding the right people to bring it to life.

● PRODUCT DESIGN
My core discipline. Designing objects and products that carry a story — balancing aesthetic conviction with technical requirements, from concept through to production-ready.

● CREATIVE PRODUCTION & SUPERVISION
Overseeing projects end-to-end. Identifying the right talent for the right task, keeping quality high, and making sure the original vision survives the process.

● SPATIAL & EXPERIENCE DESIGN
Designing how people move through and interact with physical and digital space. From exhibition concepts and trade show appearances to touchpoints, content flow, and built environment — creating experiences that are coherent from every angle.
