DANCERS is an ongoing artistic series of abstract human figures in motion, a canvas for contemporary stories expressed in a playful way. The figures have found their way into numerous projects, from music videos to festival visuals.

The MECHANIC was created for FJAAK’s techno track Mechanic Love, a 90s-inspired rave love poem. SMS3D produced the full music video and stage visuals, with the dancer at the center, a fusion of technology and human emotion set against electrifying sound.

The Mechanic was featured in DOOH Exploration, a collaborative initiative by OBJ.Studio and WallDecaux turning digital city screens across Germany into a nationwide exhibition for emerging digital artists.

This dancer marks the very beginning of the series.
Together with my former studio partner Till Dumke at SMS3D and sound artist Jakub Kubica, we created an audiovisual artwork titled THE ORIGIN OF A FUTURE BIOTOPE, shown at Berlin’s HOT MESS exhibition — exploring the imaginary surroundings of future life and the notion of needing an origin, a need with no equivalent in the digital realm.

The PARADISE DANCER was created for Berlin party series Nude — a flashy, raving figure built to move, playful in its materials and colors, made to get you dancing.

The CACTUS DANCER was created for Melt Festival’s 2022 comeback, the world waking up after lockdown, ready to bloom again. Together with SMS3D, Swiss studio Ozelot and graphic designer Dominik Keller, we shaped the festival’s entire visual identity around this moment of new beginnings.

The MELT DANCER returned to Melt Festival 2023, with metal flowers as a reference to the year before, covered in festival tattoos and a ravey neon boa. Their six-fingered hand with fresh nailart completes the look.
